New Background

Oh boy! I've failed. Epically. My poor blog has been neglected x3. We've been so busy with work, kids, life, I haven't had a chance to do anything...I even neglect my Facebook!

I might just let this one go and start a new one about the boys for family. I don't know yet. Life is busy.

These boys keep us busy.

Walkin in a Winter Wonderland...

...Well not really but we're getting snow for a SECOND time this month and I'm excited.
My son on the other hand not so much.
He said it was too cold but Mason could go outside!
Weirdo! Haha..

I ♥ SNOW!

Weekend Recap!

We've had a busy week since Thursday!

It started with Starry Nights at Shelby Farms Park on Thursday!
Their light show is soo cute!
If you live in the area I definitely recommend seeing it
if you've never been.

Friday was my 26th Birthday! Woo!
We had dinner at Coletta's, wish was good.
Then came home to have cupcakes from Gigi's Cupcakes.
They aren't Magnolia Bakery's cupcakes but they
were delish!
(I love me some cupcakes!)
Logan enjoying his cupcake!
Is it weird that I asked for a food processor?
I can't wait to use it!!

Saturday Logan had his pictures taken
At 8:20 in the AM! Yes early in the morning!
And he did wonderfully
Here's my favorite and this year's Xmas card.
After that we did some Christmas shopping.

Sunday (12-5) was a milestone day for Chris and I!
We made our first offer to buy our first house!
This is the one we've picked to hopefully,
if all goes well, call home. We're keeping our fingers crossed.

Hope everyone had a great weekend.
I've got some blog reading to catch
up on once we've done lunch and naps ♥

Thankful.

I'm so thankful for so many things and I think for the most part we are all thankful each and every day for what we have but it's also nice to have a holiday that reminds of these things, people, and places that we are thankful for.

I'm so happy and thankful for airplanes because they flew my future in-laws in from New Jersey to spend time with us and with their grandson. This, in turn, makes me thankful for family.

We had a such a great visit with them. We went to the Peabody Hotel and saw the "marching ducks". They really ran but Logan loved it! We went to the Fire Museum and the boys were in Heaven! We ate a Gus's World Famous Fried Chicken! Yum-o!! They have absolutely the best cole slaw EVER!!!

Sunday Chris and his parents, with Logan, went to Bass Pro Shop. Logan was able to see Santa and he was very scared. There was photographic proof to prove it and as soon as I get it off the site I'll post it because it's the most pitiful and funniest picture ever! His grandparents looked great in the pic though!

We were sad to see them go today! Logan had a pouty face after we dropped them off. I'm sure he's missing them...I know I am. I think I need to start planning our New Jersey trip soon!

Hello, Goodbye!

Today I had to say good bye to my last official piece of New Jersey state, my driver's license, and I said hello to my first official piece of Tennesse state!

I have to say, no matter where you go, how you dress, or style your hair, those pictures never, EVER, look good! I looked constipated or mad depending on how you interpret it, but I did smile, I promise! I thought the guy was done so I stopped smiling and then he took the picture! Thanks dude.

Pumpkin L♥ove

Chris and I took Logan to pick out pumpkins at a local farm here in TN! On a recommendation from Liz, I swanted to go to Cedar Hill Farms, in Hernando, MS,  but since I work on the weekends, it's been really hard doing any family activities during the weekend and so we had to do this during the week. I almost put the kabash on the whole deal when the day turned out to be in the 90s! Seriously.  But for fear that the rest of the month would be that way we moved forward and went to pick our pumpkins (it's definitely my FAVORITE fall thing to do!)

It definitely was very different from something that I'm used too! The pumpkin "patch" was in the back yard of someone's home. Very differnt but we proceeded. They had a very cute setup with a play area for kids and Christmas trees already growing in the background! They had some cute photo ops too, so, of course, I took the opportunity!

I completely forgot to take a pic of our pumpkins but I hope to be carving them next week! So stay tuned for some pumpkin carving fun! My schedule freed up a little bit today for work this weekend so we might just head on down to Hernando and check out Cedar Hill Farms!
